Persimmons
8" x 18"
oil

My girlfriend's mom has a persimmons tree in her backyard. I have never had a persimmons before this year myself. It's a clean sweet taste and rather yummy.  Next year I'm hoping to paint them on the tree.

Studio on wheels
8" x 10"
oil

when I was out painting this,  the owner crawled out and started talking to me about his ride.  He called it his "studio on wheels."  He was a musician and a very proud of this mobile unit.  I would love to have something like this to travel and paint the country.

a little plein air from  park in Culver city.

These last two are some 15 min poses I did at another open session in LA.  They have some sort of sky light so the lighting was quite different than what I have gotten used to in Seattle. The color was popping or it might have just been my mood at the time.  I'm not bitching but the poses are shorter than what I'm used to for painting.  I'll just have to adjust or break out the charcoal and pencils and actually draw next time.

               Moving Sale!
Everything must go.

I have been living in Seattle since I was 18 and now it's time for a change. I'm moving from West Seattle to West LA. I'm hoping to be there by July.  Over the years many friends and admirers of my work have said how they would like to buy a painting of mine, well here is your big chance.  I'm moving without a job and I'm attempting to raise some cash to soften the blow. These prices are unreal!!

I made a gallery here of some of the paintings with the prices.  Although all of my paintings at   my flicker page
are for sale as well.
Don't see the price?,  then send me a email and I will let you know and if the painting is still available
---Pricing does not include shipping----

If your in Seattle you can arrange to stop by and dig through my piles of paintings and I know some are not posted anywhere.  So help a brother out if your so inclined.  Again everything I have is for sale and the prices will never be this cheap again. You know you want a piece of Joe before he goes.

thanks

-Joe
