Edges

I have been playing with edges and stroke direction. Thinking about how I could use these elements in the future on some bigger paintings. They are all for sale so if you have a hankering to own a original hit me up.

20" x 30" oil on canvas

When the one you hold most dear has been in chronic pain with no end in sight, lack of sleep and no sign of lasting help, can't remember the last time there wasn't any pain, rational thinking and reason has temporarily been itched away. Watching and listening to your most beloved moan and cry, with sights and sound you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy, claws at your very soul. When the one most positive, optimistic person you have ever met has lost all hope and has attempted to exit the stage. Sideline judges speak in shadows out of ignorance and cast reasons why, out of their houses made of glass. The raw grit of like won't let you run. Selflessly giving, you are the eternal optimist for the other.

Not far from my Apartment is Ballona Creek that runs through Culver City. This was from my effort outside a few days ago. Painted these one right after the other.
These quick Plein sketches are for sale at Daily Paintworks these would make a great set.

Trying to stretch and grow as a artist, in doing so I have to try new things. I have always wanted to paint on some wood and have the wood grain poking through. I also wanted something that had a old folklore, fairytale vibe going on as well. Therefore I submit to you my latest piece. Rather large for a experimental piece. So fun to do.

Love the demon
36" x 36" oil on wood panel
Everyone has their own shadows. And some people call those shadows, demons. Denial, separation, and projection are the main signs of such hauntings. One must befriend and love their own demons then one finds those demons are there to show you how distorted your beliefs really are.

I am selling prints and some other goodies at society 6 of this piece.
